Clubs that meet on Thursday 11

On Thursdays SC Brett vorm Kopp sets up its boards in the zappbar in central Frankfurt for a club evening that runs until midnight, and SV Frankfurt Nord 1926 meets in the Bettinahof on the Riedberg. West of the city, SVG Eppstein 1932 plays in the club room of the Bürgerhaus after its youth groups, and SV 1929 Raunheim trains young players from six and adults from seven. SSG Rödermark/Eppertshausen, in the Bürgertreff Waldacker, says guests are always welcome.

TuS Dotzheim in Wiesbaden builds its month around Thursday: blitz on the first, rapid on the second and an open club tournament on the third, all in the Turnerheim. Other Thursday clubs are the BKA Wiesbaden chess department, TEC Darmstadt in the side room of its club restaurant, SC Groß-Umstadt in the old town hall of Klein-Umstadt, SF Seligenstadt 05, whose entrance is at the rear of the building, and Königsspringer Großauheim, which runs a Schach-Café on Thursday afternoons.
